Acorn Class
From Little Acorns...
The Acorn Class at the Andrus-on-Hudson campus is for 2-3 year olds and runs Monday - Friday 9:15-12:00. Children must be a minimum of 24 months of age by September 1 of the school year to enter this class. We have two, three and five day programs for this class.
Sugar Maple & Sassafrass Classes
To Mighty Trees
We have two classes for children ages 3-5 at the Andrus on Hudson campus: The Sugar Maple Class and The Sassafras Class. We have a morning or full-day option for 5 days per week. Children must be 2 years and 9 months (2.9) by September of the school year to enter one of our mixed-age classes. Children must be toilet-trained.
Intergenerational Program
A Grand Experience
Our preschool is located within a senior residence community. The grands who live at Andrus-on-Hudson are a special part of our school experience. We visit with them, deliver them gifts of artwork and song, and are always thinking of ways to bring nature to them. We have a weekly intergenerational music class and storytime.
